Obviously, this folder is somewhere on my hard drive but I cannot find it so I can open it and correct the archive problem. Note: After you open the Library folder, you can drag the Library icon from the top of that window to the Dock, sidebar, or toolbar to make it readily accessible. Library will appear below the current user’s home directory. The problem is there is no Thunderbird folder in Library. How do I open Library folder on Mac In the Finder, hold down the Option key when using the Go menu. Several forums say this problem can be corrected by accessing the Thunderbird folder in Library. The same is true when I right click on the header and click on archive in the drop down. When I highlight an email header, then click on archive, nothing happens. What I am trying to achieve in the first place is to repair a problem I am having with the archive function in Thunderbird. I am running the latest version of Thunderbird. However, I can use Thunderbird with no problem just cannot find the folder that I need to open. I just noticed that there is no Thunderbird folder in my Library folder, and when I search for a Thunderbird folder on my hard drive, the search turns up nothing. I just installed a new iMac, and am running the latest Apple OSX.
